As one of the first dealers in Denmark we are proud to present the über cool French label Laurence Doligé. The label combines classic men’s inspired styles with glamorous and feminine details – and tops it all off with a hint of that unique vintage feeling. We are convinced this label will become a huge success. The female designer, Laurence Doligé, was born and raised in Rouen in France. Despite the fact that she grew up without any exposure to the world of fashion, she was determined to become part of this universe as a designer. She started her career by opening a small boutique featuring her own designs, until she was hired by Maxime Vibert to design for her cool, yet classic label Madame A Paris. After 12 years she was finally ready to launch her own label which stays true to Laurence’s unique sense of style, personality and undying love for vintage. Laurence Doligé is all about amazing quality and classic styles – like a simple pencil skirt, vintage washed shirts, casual chinos, chunky cardigans with lapels, military inspired waistcoats, Beatles jackets and fur coats. The concept behind the collection - a classic line of garments combined with a touch of rock ’n’ roll, humor and personality – is hardly innovative. However, the fact that she has managed to create a full collection of jeans, skirts, shirts, slacks, waistcoats and jackets that all have the potential to become iconic pieces is truly remarkable and makes this label oh so unique. |
