French charm

Gat Rimon is the name of four people at Facebook, a court yard in central Paris and a mosque in Israel… however, (luckily) none of these have more than the name in common with new, French label Gat Rimon, who have created some of our time’s most classy and cool collections. Also, even your bank manager will find the label cool as both their dresses, jackets and pants are offered at a more than reasonable price.

Gat Rimon is French and means charm – and the name perfectly captures the lovely collection, which is the result of the cool collaboration between stylist Stefanie Mardokh, goldsmith Cynthia Pariente and accessories designer Yael Benhini.
The three partners have worked on the label for five years – and hence, aside from the obvious fact that the collection is beyond cool, the label is one of the most hyped names in the French fashion blogging world. The label does not show off – in fact, the cuts are leaning toward the raw and androgynous while the details are a bit more flashy: a simple Twiggy dress in wool is upgraded with chunky rivets on the shoulders, a double breasted dinner jacket is made with lining in contrasting colors and a casual t-shirt is embellished with a lot of raw zippers. Et voila!

The more or less 50 styles per collection are sold in countries such as Egypt, Korea, Italy, France, England, USA – and naturally, at Trier Copenhagen where you will find woolen coats with three quarter sleeves, dresses with rivets, dinner jackets in light silk, organically cut knitwear and beautiful silk dresses.
