My beloved Charlie...
Saks Fifth Avenue, Barney’s and Colette have already fallen in love with the shoe and bag label CharlieMyLove – and we understand why. The designers describe the collection as a mix between Robert Palmer girls and Guy Bourdin muses – opulent, flashy and yet stylish and subtle. And yes… we love them too! It all started at a party. A fantastic, one of a kind party – just north of the designer Sarah’s shoulders to be more exact. At her left side was a group of Robert Palmer girls with glossy lips and perfect hair. On her right side was a group of Guy Bourdin muses, sipping at their White Russians. The mix between the left and the right side is what CharlieMyLove is all about. Gold, studs, leopard and a touch of nostalgia. After years of travelling to Paris, attending schools in Tel Aviv and London (Central St. Martin’s and Corwainer’s College) and even more years working as a stylist with a major focus on interpreting mainstream American trends, the designer Sarah decided it was time to create her own label. The result is one of our time’s most rock ’n’ roll shoes and bags collection – amazing quality, innovative designs, and purple soles but above all – cool as hell. Studded ballet flats, braided open toe pumps, beautiful computer sleeves, stilettos with diamond shaped heels, a second to none fit and loved by fashionistas around the world. As mentioned, it all started at a party in New York and that experience has been shaped into a small collection of shoes and bags – all made with love. Undoubtedly, this is a label that will go far! |
